This half term we are focusing on 'Stories with Fantasy Settings' in Literacy. We usually use traditional stories in our units of work and last year during this unit we looked at stories such as Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
However, this year we have focused our work on a modern animation 'The Dream Giver'! We had looked at this story previously through our SPaG lessons, and we loved it so much!

We wrote some questions for The Dream Giver this week, and then we got the chance to ask them through role- play! We did a great job! :)
At the end of our unit we will be writing stories about our own 'Dream Givers', I wonder which fantasy setting they will take us to and what we will find there!
