In Literacy this half term, we have been learning about instructions! We now know that instructions tell somebody "what to do" and that "bossy words" (verbs) must be used!
We found out that The Big Bad Wolf (from Little Red Riding Hood) had began to feel a little guilty about his encounter with Granny! So firstly we decided to help Mr Wolf bake some cakes for Granny, we followed the instructions, paying particular attention to the bossy words, to make some cupcakes! Next we gave Mr Wolf some instructions on how to be polite e.g. Knock on the door gently and Smile sweetly.
Finally we gave Mr Wolf some directions about how to get back to Granny's house (we even drew our own maps!)
We hope that Granny liked our cakes and that Mr Wolf remembered to be polite this time!
